Assistance for Uninsured Patients

Amgen provides our medicines at no cost to qualifying patients in the United States who could otherwise not afford treatment through two foundations.

The Safety Net Foundation is a nonprofit foundation supported by Amgen that provides qualifying, uninsured patients with access to Aranesp® (darbepoetin alfa), EPOGEN® (Epoetin alfa), Neulasta® (pegfilgrastim), NEUPOGEN® (Filgrastim), Nplate® (romiplostim), Sensipar® (cinacalcet), Vectibix® (panitumumab) at no cost.

The ENcourage Foundation® is a nonprofit foundation supported by Amgen and Wyeth that helps make ENBREL® (etanercept) available to qualifying patients. To date, the ENcourage Foundation® has helped more than 24,000 qualifying patients receive treatment with ENBREL at no cost.
