Sally joined Amgen in 2016 as a postdoctoral fellow to study the molecular interaction of endocrine fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) with their receptors. She is currently a scientist in the Department of Cardiometabolic Disorders pursuing early target discovery. Her research focuses on cardiovascular and metabolic disease areas with large unmet need. Part of Sally’s current research interests is to leverage single-cell technologies and in vivo animal models to understand the role of cardiac interstitial cells in the pathogenesis of heart failure, with the goal of translating research findings into effective therapies.
