Amgen’s Code of Conduct
Amgen’s Code of Conduct sets the standard for how we act with integrity, accountability, and respect in everything we do to serve patients.
In today’s complex global business environment, the right course of action is not always obvious. Our Code of Conduct, together with Amgen’s Mission, Aspiration, Values, and Leadership Attributes, establishes clear expectations to help our staff make sound, ethical decisions and speak up when something does not seem right.
At Amgen, acting with integrity is everyone’s responsibility. This means our staff members are expected to:
- Understand and follow the Code of Conduct, applicable laws, and Amgen policies
- Ask questions and seek guidance when unsure
- Speak up and report concerns in good faith using the Business Conduct Hotline or other available resources
- Use good judgment and act with honesty, accountability, and respect
All Amgen staff are required to complete Code of Conduct training annually. Everyone conducting business on behalf of Amgen, including consultants, contract workers, and temporary workers, is required to follow the Code of Conduct, applicable laws, and company policies.
The Code applies across all Amgen locations, affiliates, and subsidiaries. Amgen does not tolerate violations of the Code of Conduct or retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
